INVITATION FOR YOUTH AGRI ENTREPRENEURSHIP PILOT PROJECT IN SINDH PROVINCE 

Applications are invited from suitable candidates under ADP Scheme (2017-18) Strengthening Agriculture Engineering through Capacity Building of Staff. Youth Entrepreneurship through Technology Support. Agriculture. Supply & Prices Department. Government of Sindh, has initiated a project for Strengthening Agriculture Engineering through Capacity Building of Staff, Youth Entrepreneurship through Technology Support. The overall goal of the project is to enhance crop productivity through introduction, promotion and provision of economical & efficient farm mechanization services byestablishing Agro-Mech Technology Service Centre (ATSC) through Government of Sindh subsidy under private sector at 12 Locations.

Total 60 Young Entrepreneurs will be trained in a period of four- month each in the field of Operation & Maintenance of Agriculture Implements, Information Technology related android based software applications. Agri Business Management & Agricultural Mechanization Services. The Agriculture graduates would be trained through resource persons and technical staff of department and reputed institution organization for operation of agriculture implements. technical aspect of repairing work. profitable marketing of agriculture production, preservation of fruits and vegetables and other necessary guidance requires for the Agro-Mech Technology Service Centre. A training plan will be developed under the provision of Consultancy/ Advisory service and through well repute institutes.

After completion of Successful Training Program, trainees will be given opportunities to set up their own business from Agriculture. Supply & Prices Department to establish Agro-Mech Technology Service Centre (ATSC) by providing Agriculture Equipments / Implements to farmers community on rental basis. A nominal stipend per month will be provided for each Agriculture graduate during the training program.

Under the scheme mandatory document for the entrepreneurs are as under:-
1. Attested Photocopy of CNIC.
2. 02 Nos. Passport Size Photographs.
3. Application form duly filled with proper manner.
4. Applicant should be Agriculture Graduate in the field of Agriculture Engineering and Agronomist, Soil Sciences & Agri Business) Graduation in last three years.
5. Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate that they do not have any job in private / government sector
6. Photocopy of Academic Certificates duly attested.
7. Photocopy of PRC / Domicile confirming the residence of beneficiary in the Province of Sindh.
8. Social collateral by the local well known person of their area. 

PROCEDURE • Proposed Agro-Mech Technology Service Centre (ATSC) would be established at 30 Locations. Preference will be given to local graduates of concerned district and residing near to their established centers.
• Candidates with sound concept & proposal would be preferred at the time of application submitted to the Directorate Agriculture Engineering Sindh. 

• Willing to sign MOU/Contract with the Department regarding the obligation of scheme.
• The beneficiaries will follow the scheme objective/guideline.
• Agro-Mech Technology Service Centre (ATSC) will be allowed to Charge rental charges of Agriculture Implements as per existing market rates, monitored by the Agriculture, Supply & Prices Department.
• 11 beneficiary youth is offered a job employment, he has to inform his partners & to the Director Agriculture Engineering prior to his joining the job / service and ensure the clearance also.
• The employed beneficiary before relieving Agro-Mech Technology Service Centre (ATSC) must get clearance from remaining members, particularly for the financial matters,
• ATSC will get register as Small Enterprises through SMEDA.

• strengthening of Agriculture Engineering Workshops to I establish training facility for the Young / Youth Entrepreneurship I in collaboration with reputed institution / organization.
• train & assist Young Agriculture graduates to establish their Agri Business Centers related to Agricultural Machinery at 30 Locations.

Following positions are required to successfully implement I the project:

1. Agri Business Coordinator (01 No.) B.E. Agri.
Age Between 50 to 55
Sindh Domicile
Experience: 15 years Post Qualification experience having extensive experience of Agriculture Mechanization in Sindh.

2. Data Processing Officer (02 Nos.) Bachelor in IT & Graduate in Commerce with Diploma in IT
Age Between 25 to 30
Sindh Domicile
Experience: 03 years Post Qualification experience having extensive experience of IT related work.

3 Junior Clerks (02 Nos.) Graduate
Age Between 25 to 30
Sindh Domicile
Experience: 02 years Post Qualification experience.

4. Naib Qasid (02 Nos.) Matric
Age Between 25 to 30
Sindh Domicile
Experience: 01 year Post Qualification experience. 

The positions offered shall be on contract basis (06 months) extendable till project period on the basis of performance and funds position and a competitive fixed remuneration package will be offered to the suitable candidates along with an excellent working environment.
